Five Element
The begonia tree occupies the center of the scene, rendered in soft pink brushstrokes with particle effects that suggest movement. The four surrounding plants function differently. Inspired by the oxygen-source scene in Scavengers Reign, each plant has a specific environmental function that the player can learn to use: one purifies toxic air, one provides structural material, one acts as a sensory amplifier, one stores and releases heat. None of them signal their function. The player must observe, test, and sometimes fail, so it’s nearly a Minecraft-like world where players need to discover the environment on their own.
The five elemental zones are arranged around it, each differentiated by color and stroke quality: Water in pale blue gestural lines, Earth in thick brown forms, Metal in sharp angular marks, Fire in loose warm strokes, Wood in the flowing central canopy.
